Health and Safety

Due to the demands of health & safety, and other regulations, Acorn employs health & safety consultants to advise and update us on all health and safety issues.

This system also produces Safety Polices, Risk Assessments and hazard identification under COSHH Regulations for materials that we use.

Method Statements are produced in compliance with the current CDM Regulations.

We see health & safety as an important aspect of company policy, and health & safety training for all our operatives is carried out on a regular basis.

Health & safety procedures are constantly reviewed, and we have a health & safety training program in place.

Acorn have an excellent safety record and are full committed to ensuring all our contracts are carried out within the guidelines of the health & safety at work act 1974 and CDM Regulations 1994.

Acorn have been assessed and approved by the Contractors health & safety Scheme (CHAS).
